Process Reflection
To understand my questions more and more as well as to learn more about Epilepsy I have read multiple medical reports and articles on the topic trying to find an accurate answer to what the most common cause of Epilepsy is as well as what it is that most epileptics have to go through on a daily basis. I haven't been too successful on that second question but I am sure I can use my own experience compared to others.
I plan to speak to Elizabeth Sanders internally. I am hoping to learn a little bit more about what the people around me wonder and I want to know what they all want to know most. As for answering questions I intend to ask her what her definition of epilepsy is. Both of those questions are also the most important questions for her. For an external person I intend to speak with my neurologist Catherine Chu for some common answers to my questions. The first question I want to ask Catherine is “What is the most common cause of Epilepsy/?”, that question is the most important question that i think she can answer for me. I will have a couple others to ask her as well. I intend to ask Elizabeth what she thinks the normal amount of seizures is for a typical epileptic then compare her answers to my own statistics. I will ask her what she thinks epileptics need to go through on the daily (test wise/ hospital visits). For Catherine I intend to ask her “what is the death rate of epilepsy?”
I definitely need to read more about the questions I have to try to get a better idea of what their best answers are and what I will be hearing from my doctor, as for clarification I think that my questions are pretty much straight to the point and clear.
